Caning or weaving is amongst the oldest of handcraft technologies performed by man. At RAUSCH CLASSICS this skill has a long tradition. More than 40 years ago furniture with rattan and leather weave were produced in our own Philippine factories. Over the subsequent decades we have gained immense experience and know-how enabling us to respond to an increasing demand for high quality cane and wicker furniture for outdoor living.

Every piece of furniture is still a masterpiece woven completely by hand and with pride. An armchair requires nearly 26 man hours and a sun lounger, such as DAYTONA BEACH, nearly 47 man hours to weave. Examples of the painstaking time, care and attention undertaken on each piece we produce. Minor deviations in shape and dimension should therefore be remembered and considered as characters of expert workmanship. In producing the FLORIDA Collection we only use weather resistant and high value synthetic RAUCORD. These are woven fibres and each model is available with a number of color options, some of which vary, which we ask you to study carefully when choosing your collections.
